President Jokowi said immigration should consider the value of investment, the number of open jobs, to the contribution to the economy and increasing exports when granting visas or Kitas to foreign investors. "This is something that has to be completely changed; what should be its aura is to facilitate and serve, it must change completely. If we want investment to come, tourists come, it must be changed," he said. According to him, there are countries that facilitate visas and residence permits for foreign nationals with economic capabilities and special skills. Thus, visas and Kitas for foreign investors and experts are believed to be able to provide benefits to the people of Indonesia.
