Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Siduarjo, East Java managed to penetrate the international market, one of which was the initial export of egg noodles by CV. Indigo Sejahtera. Siduarjo Regent Ahmad Muhdlor said the export this time sent eight containers to Middle Eastern countries with the destination of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. “It’s time for MSMEs in Siduarjo Regency to expand abroad,” he said during the first export of the noodle product in Siduarjo. Muhdlor saw that Siduarjo’s MSME products were no less competitive with foreign products, such as noodle products this time. Currently, 300 MSMEs sell foreign products and Siduarjo’s government is very proud of that. There were 1000 MSMEs from nine provinces that could go international and 300 of them were MSMEs from Siduarjo in Surabaya Export Center. From the beginning, he wanted MSMEs in Siduarjo to progress and develop because they were one of his 17 priority programs, namely MSMEs advancing to go to the next grade.
Ageng Sulistiana as owner of CV. Indigo Sejahtera appreciates what the Siduarjo Regency Government has done for supporting MSMEs. Ageng said this year his company could export up to eight containers. Currently, there is still one 40-feet container of dried noodle products. The number will continue to increase with a product value of 20 thousand US dollar per container.
