Bank of Indonesia (BI) recorded that foreign capital inflows to the domestic financial market amounted to IDR 7.74 trillion on August 8-11, 2022. Executive Director and Head of BI Communications Department Erwin Haryono, foreign capital inflows through Government Securities (SBN) amounted to IDR 4.29 trillion and the stock market amounted to IDR 3.44 trillion. "Based on transaction data from August 8-11, 2022, non-residents in the domestic financial market bought a net IDR 7.74 trillion," Erwin said in an official statement, quoted Friday (12/8). Erwin added that during 2022, based on data on settlements up to August 11, 2022, non-residents will sell net IDR 126.10 trillion in the SBN market and buy net IDR 58.20 trillion in the stock market. Meanwhile, Indonesia's five-year Credit Default Swaps (CDS) risk premium rate fell by 99.42 bps as of 11 August 2022 from 113.25 bps as of 5 August 2022. Meanwhile, the yield on 10-year SBN fell to 6.98 percent. However, the yield on the US 10-year Treasury note fell to 2.88%. "Bank Indonesia will continue to strengthen coordination with the Government and relevant authorities and continue to optimize the policy mix strategy to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability to support further economic recovery," Erwin concluded.
