"We continue to export, even last year we did the first export of durian. The export of this agricultural commodity from Lampung is to the destination countries of the Netherlands, the United States and China," said Kusnardi, when asked for information, Tuesday (12/7/2022). Kusnardi also explained that currently his party is developing a local fruit, namely avocado, to be exported because the demand at the world level is quite high. "What we are currently developing are avocados, because the demand for avocados in the world is enormous. Indonesia, especially Lampung itself, must be able to take this opportunity," he continued.
According to him, the development and improvement of the quality of local fruit production is expected to improve the economy and the welfare of farmers. "Hopefully there will be no obstacles, we will continue to maintain the quality of the products. These fruits are very potential. Natural resources in Lampung are also quite abundant," he explained. Kusnardi added that his party was coordinating with farmers and recipients, so that the delivery process agricultural commodities can run smoothly. "We are still looking for a liaison so that the delivery route is easier. We are also looking for convenience between demand and consumers to supply so that we find an easy way," he said.
