The people of Lombok are hoping that the construction of the Mujur Dam will soon be realized and integrated with Mandalika. Due to the existence of the Mujur Dam, it will become a source of raw water and a supply of water resources that are also beneficial for agricultural production for the local community. This was conveyed by Member of Commission V of the DPR RI, Mulyadi, at the end of last June. "The existence of this Mujur Dam is one of the sources of raw water for the community, it's not funny how the mandalika is so exposed, but if the infrastructure is not integrated, especially the supply of water resources, the project must be integrated so that it is maximized," said Mulyadi on the sidelines of the team meeting. a specific visit of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission V with the Central Lombok Regent and the ranks of the PUPR ministry in the Province of NTB.
Mulyadi explained, Central Lombok has a national project that risks Indonesia's face in the world, namely the Mandalika circuit. However, based on information on agricultural infrastructure and the supply of water sources, it is very worrying, so he advised not to let Mandalika, who has managed to organize the best event, then experience difficulties for his community.
"I, who is not the NTB constituency, have a different point of view, why? Because Central Lombok has a national project, it's not just a community problem, the point of view is the national point of view that the existence of this lucky dam is one of the sources of raw water for the community and of course for development. mandalika in the future," said Mulyadi. Regarding land acquisition, Mulyadi also explained, the state must have good political will and have the sensitivity that this is a strategic project that must support mandalika activities in the future. So, there should be good formulations so that this dam can be realized.
