Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki visited and opened the Kebumen International Expo (KIE) on Saturday (25/6/2022) night. Minister Teten positively welcomed the KEI event. According to him, the combination of events to attract investment is considered very appropriate. "I welcome this KEI positively, which I think combines events to attract investment, trade, and tourists is very appropriate," said Teten, Saturday (25/6/2022) night.
Meanwhile, tourism is considered to be able to move the economy in Kebumen. Moreover, the purchasing power in Kebumen is still low. "Well, this is just the inaugural year. I think the following years will see the impact, especially if it is packaged properly. I think Kebumen has extraordinary tourism potential," he added. To note, KIE is the biggest event that has never existed before in Kebumen. This activity lasts until July 2, 2022 and is located in Kebumen Square. In general, this activity is divided into three parts, namely Trade, Tourism, Investment, and Business which are packaged differently so that they have added value.
