"The high economic growth was supported by export performance which grew by 14.76 percent, and from the business field, the mining sector grew 26.80 percent," he explained. Then other aspects of development, the quality of welfare and independence of the people of Central Kalimantan also show an increase from year to year. The poverty rate is 5.16 percent, the Gini ratio is 0.32 percent, and the open unemployment rate is 4.20 percent, better than the national average.
