Fishery Exports are Getting More and More Intense, Live Groupers Fish Are Send to Hong Kong

14,161 live groupers were successfully exported by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) to Hong Kong from the Ambon Fish Quarantine, Quality Control and Fishery Products Safety Center (BKIPM). "We will maximize the service for the 2022 BMK. Thank God, we will release exports," said the Head of BKIPM Ambon, M Hatta Arisandi, in Ambon. Hatta revealed that the export release was carried out on Saturday, April 16, 2022. At that time, the certificate of fish quarantine installation (IKI) was handed over to PT. East Sea Eagle. The certificate is a guarantee that the live fish quarantined in the company's facilities are completely safe. During BMK 2022, Hatta ensured that his staff will continue to educate and socialize the importance of quality assurance.

Not only that, he also invited business actors or fish processing units (UPI) to take care of a certificate of good fish handling (CPIB). Especially this year, BKIPM targets the issuance of 10,000 CPIB certificates. "BMK is a momentum for us to always educate the public that we as quality assurance will guarantee the quality of Indonesian fishery products," he said.

For information, the release of live grouper exports was attended by the Head of Customs and Excise Ambon, Head of PSDKP Ambon Station, Head of BBL Ambon, Fisheries Service of Maluku Province, Representative of PPN Ambon and Director of PT. East Sea Eagle. In his remarks, the Director of PT. Rajawali, Hasan expressed his deepest gratitude to BKIPM for the Quick Response in the management of IKI and CKIB Certificates. “With the certification, it becomes an added value for PT. Rajawali to get more buyers so that production and exports can be increased," said Hasan.
