Cans of Crackers with Batik Motifs Penetrate Foreign Markets

Indonesian Batik continues to penetrate the world through a variety of unique products. One of them is a can of cracker with batik motifs from Yogyakarta which has managed to steal the attention of buyers from Europe, the United States, Australia and Southeast Asia. SME entrepreneur from Yogyakarta, Eni Anjayani presents home decor equipment and handicrafts that are applied with old batik motifs. Eni made a unique product, namely cracker cans with batik motifs which were successfully exported to the Netherlands. According to him, the CPNE program has great benefits for SMEs, especially to help select the types of products that match demand, market access, calculate selling prices, and learn the process from product delivery to the destination country. The CPNE program is prepared for export-oriented SMEs who want to develop into exporters through a series of training and mentoring stages, so as to produce superior products that can compete in the global market. "This is in accordance with our mandate as Special Mission Vehicle K Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia to create new exporters and also carry the local slogan that is global," said LPEI Corporate Secretary, Chesna F.
