Erick Thohir also said that the Ministry of BUMN itself had presented Sarinah as a showcase for products made by the nation's children. "We have also made storefronts for local brands, namely Sarinah. Sarinah, which used to be a history was almost forgotten, now we wake up from sleep where Sarinah is a showcase for local products," he said.
According to him, this is what is called an ecosystem where ecosystems can occur if all stakeholders, policy makers, and of course the younger generation take their roles. The Minister of SOEs added that his party also launched the Sembrani Fund so that these local brands would invest. Apart from the Red and White Fund which invests in startups. and Sarinah will build storefronts for these local brands. Erick hopes that this will become an ecosystem, because it is impossible for local brands created by young Indonesians to work independently. Precisely by merging into a unified ecosystem, it can encourage local Indonesian brands.
