Customs and Excise provide assistance in various regions to encourage the potential of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to be able to export. The activities were carried out by Customs and Excise for Banjarmasin, Bali Nusa Tenggara, Kotabaru, Langsa, and Pontianak. Head of Sub-Directorate of Public Relations and Customs Counseling, Hatta Wardhana, revealed that the assistance activities provided by MSMEs were to have export potential. "This also encourages national economic recovery," said Hatta. Banjarmasin Customs and Excise in collaboration with the MSME community in South Kalimantan have a passion for exporting. They directly hear and provide input on complaints and obstacles faced by business actors in their intention to export. With this activity, it is hoped that it can inspire MSME players to start exporting and widen the MSME market. Bali Nusra Customs and Excise attended the "Sharing Session for Opening Export Markets for KITE IKM" which was held on Thursday (31/03). Customs and Excise are also committed to providing support to the business world, including MSMEs. In this case, IKM KITE Entrepreneurs provide facilities in the field of customs and excise, including Customs Fiscal facilities. Customs and Excise also conducts an Export-Oriented MSME Assistance program in the Context of National Economic Recovery (PEN).
It is hoped that with this program, MSME Actors / KITE-IKM Entrepreneurs can grow and develop and can compete in domestic and foreign markets. Kotabaru Customs and Excise also cooperates with the Kotabaru Post Office to organize customs socialization for MSMEs. The socialization was related to the Export Post service product with the tagline "the easiest way to do export" with the community segment, especially MSMEs or online shops. In order to support the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN), and the realization of the main functions of Customs, namely Trade Facilitator and Industrial Assistance.
