President Joko Widodo inaugurated three tourist and culinary park locations on Kelapa Lima Beach, Kupang City, NTT which was built by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (KemenPUPR) to support tourism areas in the area. "I am very impressed with the development of this area starting from the Old City of Kupang City and also at Kelapa Lima Beach and the corridor three Fran Seda Street," said Jokowi when symbolically inaugurating Kelapa Lima Beach on Jalan Timor Raya, Kupang City, Thursday morning. The number one person in Indonesia also appreciates the efforts of the PUPR Ministry, which is currently building clean water development in the Jerky River as well as schools and polytechnics. Jokowi admitted that he did not know how much the construction of the three tourist and culinary parks in Kupang City would cost because he did not get information on how much they were worth.

"I don't know how much this tourism and the culinary park will cost, but it's definitely worth a lot," he said. Jokowi hopes that the construction of several tourist and culinary parks can change the face of Kupang City as the capital city of East Nusa Tenggara province for the better. The President was accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Governor of NTT Viktor B Laiskodat, Deputy Governor of NTT Josef Nae Soi, and Mayor of Kupang Jefri Riwu Kore. Before inaugurating the area, Jokowi had time to walk around the development in the area and greet residents in Kupang City whose houses are close to the park. After inaugurating the tourist area, Jokowi then immediately went to the Penfui market in Kupang City, to have a dialogue with traders in the area. Then from the Penfui Market, Jokowi immediately went to Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS) using a helicopter to review the stunting reduction acceleration program in that district.
