Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said he would invite 25 investors from all over the world to participate in developing the Likupang-Manado Super Priority Destination (DSP). The investors will come soon, one of them from the United States. Not only providing funding commitments, but Sandiaga also hopes that they can immediately provide an investment schedule. He believes that the arrival of investors can create business opportunities and create jobs for the community. Moreover, the Likupang-Manado DSP has great creative tourism potential. While reviewing the Tourist Attractions Management Training in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Tuesday (15/2), Sandiaga emphasized that the government is here with policies that are right on target, have the right benefits, and are timely. Thus, people affected by the pandemic can immediately revive the economy. "I am really excited because I see the opportunity, if I were an entrepreneur, this is the best time to invest. Because when this super-priority destination becomes a mainstay tourist destination, it will definitely get an abundance of these opportunities and will be useful for improving people's welfare," said Sandiaga. Sandiaga said his party would facilitate several activities and ensure entrepreneurs could invest immediately. "Therefore, I will invite all entrepreneurs to invest in Likupang-Manado and for those who already hold permits, we must give an ultimatum so that they invest immediately," he said.
