The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has issued an international vaccine certificate which is of course following the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO). The existence of this international vaccine certificate will make it easier for people who like to travel abroad. The release of international vaccine certificates by the Ministry of Health removes the issue of Indonesia's vaccine certificates which are not recognized by several countries. This obstacle was experienced by Umrah pilgrims in Saudi Arabia because the vaccine certificate code at PeduliLindung could not read QR codes at Saudi Arabian airports. At that time, the Ministry of Religion was integrating the application of the Computerized System for the Integrated Management of Umrah and Special Hajj (Siskopatuh) with PeduliLindungi. It was tried so that PeduliLindungi could be connected to a similar application, namely Tawakkalna, which is owned by Saudi Arabia. The Chief of Digital Transformation Office of the Ministry of Health, Setiaji, said that the form and information contained in international vaccine certificates had been adjusted to WHO standards. "This includes the quick response (QR) barcode listed in it so that it can be read and recognized abroad," Setiaji said in a written statement, Thursday (3/2/2022). International vaccine certificates can be used by Overseas Travelers (PPLN) and Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) as proof that they have received complete primary vaccinations.

Regarding the type of vaccine received or applied, it also refers to the policy of each country of destination. The international vaccine certificate issued by the Ministry of Health can be accessed through the PeduliLindung application. There is also a method of accessing it, as follows:
Update the PeduliLindung application to the latest version;
Open the PeduliLindung application and log in with a registered account;
Go to the "Vaccine Certificate" menu;
In the “Overseas Travel Certificate” section, click the “+” icon;
Check the name of the user you want to generate an international certificate for, click next;
Select the destination country, click next and confirm;
The certificate was successfully created and is active, then click "View Details".
To view the QR code or download the certificate, you can go to the "Vaccine Certificate" menu and select the username for which an international vaccine certificate has been created.
