Energy and Mining Sector PNBP in 2021 Reached IDR 189.2 Trillion

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif said the realization of non-tax state revenues (PNPB) from the energy and mineral resources sector reached IDR 189.2 trillion throughout 2021. “The 2021 realization reached IDR 189.2 trillion or 156 percent of the target IDR 121.2 trillion," he said at a press conference related to the 2021 Performance Achievements and the 2022 Program in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/1/2022). Compared to the realization of non-tax revenues from the energy and mineral resources sector in 2020 which reached IDR 109 trillion, the performance in 2021 has increased by around 73.6%. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources continues to encourage an increase in PNBP, among others through oil and gas lifting, supervision of mineral and coal production activities, as well as geothermal.


In 2021, the oil and gas sub-sector will be the largest contributor to the realization of PNBP with a figure of Rp 103.2 trillion. Then, the mineral and coal sub-sector amounted to Rp 75.5 trillion. The new and renewable energy sub-sector contributed IDR 1.9 trillion in PNBP. Then, other sub-sectors amounted to IDR 8.6 trillion. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources targets the realization of non-tax revenues from the energy and mineral resources sector in 2022 of Rp 132.2 trillion, with details of US$ 85.9 billion from the oil and gas sub-sector, IDR 28 trillion from the mineral and coal sub-sector, IDR 2.4 trillion from new and renewable energy, and IDR 15.9 trillion from other sub-sectors. Minister Arifin said the 2022 budget plan of the total ceiling of Rp 5.89 trillion, 49% was allocated for the community, 35% for internal services, and 16 % for the non-physical public. The details of the budget will be used, including the installation of the first phase of the natural gas transmission pipeline for the Cisem section, a new gas network of 40 thousand house connections, 30 thousand packages of fishermen's converter kits, 30 thousand packages of farmer converter kits, and 80 thousand house connections for new electricity connections. Then, repairing four volcanic observation posts, modernizing the geological disaster mitigation system in five locations, building 79 units of rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 2.3 MWp, solar street lighting as many as 22 thousand packages, installation of three PLTMH units, 11,347 APDAL packages, and revitalization. 11 units of new renewable energy power plants.
