Facilitated by Madeinindonesia.com, Several MSMEs Prepare to Enter the Export Market

Several MSME business players are preparing to export abroad, facilitated by the cross-border B2B platform, Madeinindonesia.com. Madeinindonesia.com CEO, Ilyas Bhat, said that the MSMEs that will be facilitated for exports include seafood products from Bali and shoe and fashion products from Bandung, West Java. On the other hand, there are more than 4-5 brands that are in the process of being shipped to overseas buyers, including children's clothing and baby products. “We invite them [SME players] to contact us so we can connect them with potential international buyers. We will help them by providing various forms of facilities," said Ilyas in an official statement, Friday (12/17/2021).

According to Ilyas, this shipment or export will take place regularly. As for SMEs, which are facilitated for export, Madeinindonesia.com will curate them first. According to Ilyas, several Indonesian SMEs have enjoyed the results of export activities. Until the third quarter of this year, madeinindonesia.com is more focused on strengthening the supply side, namely encouraging Indonesian entrepreneurs and producers to join B2B e-commerce. Meanwhile, for now, the focus is shifting to strengthening demand. Meanwhile, most of the demand comes from countries in the Middle East or Gulf countries, including demand for footwear, fashion, and various categories of seafood. "Early next year, we will start working on the US market," he added.
