Bank Indonesia (BI) noted that the results of the 2021 Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) resulted in business deals of up to IDR 7.81 trillion. The business agreements obtained came from three sharia festivals (Fesyar) at the regional level. BI Governor Perry Warjiyo said the East Indonesia Festival was centered in Gorontalo, then the Sumatra Festival was centered in Riau, while the Java Fesyar was centered in East Java. "So many achievements, namely a series of national and international webinars, business matching, international showcases, and exhibitions were successful.
As of October, more than 151 thousand participants were joined with business deals of Rp. 7.81 trillion. Including the results of productive waqf auctions," said Perry in the opening report of the 8th Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival (ISEF) 2021, Wednesday (27/10). Perry explained that the 8th ISEF activity will run from October 25, 2021 to October 30, 2021, at national and international levels. Most of ISEF's events are aimed at promoting national economic recovery, including the herbitren national conference, expansion of halal certification, halal lifestyle, and international tourism forums.
Meanwhile, in the field of Islamic finance economics, Islamic finance conferences and Islamic economics education summits were held. "Alhamdulillah, more and more institutions, associations, and various national and international parties have joined together in making this a success. For that, we express our highest appreciation to all 16 members of KNEKS (national committee on sharia economy and finance)," he concluded.
