Vice President Ma'ruf Amin hopes that Indonesia will become the center of world Muslim fashion so that strategic and consistent promotion is needed in realizing these ideals. "We want Muslim fashion to be at the forefront. To become the center of world Muslim fashion, we need an integrated promotion like the one carried out by the Indonesian Muslim Fashion Festival," said the Vice President in a statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday.
The Vice President encouraged fashion festival activities for Muslim fashion to be held consistently and become a strategic stage to introduce Indonesia as the center of world Muslim fashion. In addition, the Muslim fashion festival activities can encourage economic development and sharia finance, especially in the Indonesian halal product industry."It is hoped that through the implementation of the event, economic development and Islamic finance from the fashion sector will be more advanced and provide many benefits for the development of the industry that follows it," he said.

The Vice President also reminded the organizers of the Muslim fashion festival to reach the global market, thus facilitating promotional strategies. "We have a digital platform company, many have done global marketing, the channel (network) already exists, how do we take advantage of the potential that now exists," he said.
Meanwhile, designer Ali Charisma asked the government for support to organize the Indonesian Muslim Fashion Festival as a means of introducing Muslim fashion from Indonesia. "We hope that this event is not enough for us to run alone. We are trying to convince government officials that our dream of making Indonesia the only center for Muslim moe in the world will be achieved," said Ali Charisma.
