One of the icons of the Labuan Bajo destination, Padar Island again welcomes tourists. The island, which is said to be one of the islands in Indonesia with the best views, will reopen on July 19, 2021.
However, the Komodo National Park Office reminds tourists who want to visit South Padar to pay attention to the applicable regulations.
Some of these provisions include the Komodo National Park Office only providing a visit quota of 300 people/day with three time divisions: (05:30-07:30), (08:00-10:00), and (15:00-18) :00). The Komodo National Park Office will periodically evaluate the applicable regulations.

The Padar Island tourist area has been reopened to tourists after previously being closed since 5 July due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It has been reopened after being closed for approximately 14 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic," said Shana Fatina, Managing Director of the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority (BPOLBF), as quoted by Antara.
While the matter of dividing the hours of entry into 3 parts is one way to reduce the buildup and tourists in the Komodo National Park area.
He added that tourists arriving on Padar Island are required to wear face shields or face shields, in addition when arriving at the arrival dock, officers will screen them by checking their body temperature.
