The Ministry of Trade stated that the online consultation service held by the Ministry of Trade during the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) was of interest to the public and business actors.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade Suhanto ensured that online public services would continue to be carried out using the Zoom video conferencing application to replace face-to-face consultations.
"We ensure that public services at the Ministry of Trade will continue to run during the Emergency PPKM. Instead of face-to-face consultations, the public and business actors can take advantage of the online consultation room that we have opened on the Zoom application," Suhanto said in a statement in Jakarta, Tuesday.
According to Suhanto, foreign trade consultancy is the most popular since the Ministry of Trade opened an online trade consulting service last Wednesday (7/7).
It was noted that up to the first week of its implementation, 70 participants had contacted foreign trade consulting services covering exports of agricultural and forestry products, exports of industrial and mining products, and imports.
In addition, until the first week of the online consultation, there were 21 consultation participants in the field of consumer protection and trade order, 12 participants in the domestic trade sector, and two participants in the commodity futures trading sector.
Suhanto appealed to the public and business actors to take advantage of the various service facilities and complaints from the Ministry of Trade available, one of which is through the Zoom application.
"The Ministry of Trade is always ready to help the community and business actors who need consultation in the trade sector," concluded Suhanto.
