Head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rosan Roeslani, said that 22,736 companies had registered to participate in the Mutual Cooperation Vaccine program.
This vaccination program was initiated by Kadin starting last January with the President and the Ministry of Health with the aim of accelerating herd immunity.
“From our discussion, then the idea from Mr. [President] regarding the Independent Vaccine, which later became the Mutual Cooperation Vaccine and Alhamdulillah received a positive response not only from ministers, government, but also from the business world," he said at the opening of the Mutual Cooperation Vaccination Program. , Tuesday (18/5/2021).
Rosan said that now there are approximately 22,736 companies registered with more than 10 million employees.
The hope is that this vaccination program can run quickly because this vaccine is one of the dominant factors that will have a positive impact on the health sector and will also have a positive impact on economic recovery.
“I hope that more companies will register, register with us, and I have already said that if possible, not only employees can get vaccines, but also their families," added Rosan.
Mutual cooperation vaccines are regulated in the Minister of Health Regulation Number 10 of 2021. Mutual cooperation vaccination is a vaccination program given to employees or female employees or families and individuals whose funding is borne by legal entities or business entities.
Thus, mutual aid vaccination recipients will still not be charged the same alias as government program vaccine recipients who are not charged any fees.
Nevertheless, the Ministry of Health has set a price limit that must be paid by business entities to purchase vaccines, namely Rp. 321,660 per dose, and the maximum tariff for vaccination services is Rp. 117,910.
In this program the vaccine used is the Sinopharm vaccine. The World Health Organization (WHO) has approved the vaccine to be included in the emergency use list or EUL and the POM has also issued an emergency use permit or EUA for the vaccine.
