On Thursday, 18 June 2026, the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, in collaboration with the Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI), proudly hosted the Cena Conviviale Straordinaria. Held at Casa Alba Ristorante in Menteng, Central Jakarta, this event celebrated a monumental milestone: the historic inscription of Italian Cuisine into the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

​Following its official recognition in December 2025, Italy became the first nation in the world to receive this honor for its cuisine in its entirety. This remarkable achievement celebrates far more than just recipes; it honors the "cucina degli affetti"—the social practices, traditional knowledge, and convivial rituals transmitted through generations that define Italy's rich cultural identity.

To mark this global milestone in Jakarta, 32 esteemed guests, comprising IBAI members and board representatives, as well as delegates from Eurocham, gathered for a highly curated dining experience.
​The evening centered around a traditional menu meticulously crafted by Chef Roberto Fiorini. His culinary creations beautifully highlighted the domestic and family traditions that UNESCO so highly commended, bringing the essence of the Italian hearth to the heart of Indonesia.

The gathering fostered a warm, convivial atmosphere, seamlessly blending formal addresses with culinary storytelling with the detailed agenda as follows:

2. ​Opening Remarks: Shared by H.E. the Ambassador of Italy.
3. ​Special Remarks: Fabian Pascoal, IBAI Board Representative, followed by 
4. Introductory Remarks: Raffaele Quarto, representing the Accademia Italiana della Cucina.
5. ​The Culinary Journey: Chef Roberto Fiorini introduced the evening's menu. 
6. ​Conclusion & Networking: Following closing remarks from the MC and the collection of guest feedback during dessert, the memorable evening concluded with lively networking and photo sessions.
