On Friday, 9 May 2025, the Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI) in cooperation with FAIP Law Firm and Indonesian Bar Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia/PERADI) West Jakarta Chapter held a seminar on the Socialization of Patent Law with a topic of “The Indonesia’s Patent Law and Its Implications through the Implementation of Law (Undang Undang/UU) No. 65 Year 2024 on the Third Amendment to UU No. 13 Year 2016”.
The event was warmly commenced with the Welcoming Remarks by Bapak Marco Noto La Diega as Chairman of IBAI, then continued with an Opening Remarks Fortuna Alvariza, SH as Treasurer of Peradi West Jakarta Chapter, and followed with Keynote Speaker by Ibu Dra. Sri Lastami, S.T., M.IPL as the Director of the Directorate of Patents, Integrated Circuit Layout Design and Trade Secrets Directorate General of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia.
The next session was continued with a Presentation from Speaker Ibu Dr. Lily Evelina Sitorus, SH, M.Si as the Head of Sub-Directorate of Facilitation of Patent Appeal Commission, Directorate General of Patent, Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia and moderated by Ibu Fortuna Alvariza as Founding Partner FAIP Advocates & IP Counsels, continued with QnA sessions, Conclusion by Moderator, Closing Remarks from IBAI Chairman, Appreciation from Organizer to Ibu Dr. Lily Evelina Sitorus, SH, M.Si, and closed with Business Networking Session.
