This notice explains how the Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI) handles information through this website. For questions or requests about your information, email ibai@ibai.or.id.
Newsletter signup
We send your email address and, where provided, your optional name and company to EmailOctopus to manage your subscription and subscriber profile for IBAI’s general Indonesia business newsletter. The subscription record identifies the website as its source. Double opt-in is enabled: follow the confirmation email before receiving the newsletter.
Signing up does not make you a member or subscribe you to members-only regulatory or Ambrosetti updates. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or contact IBAI to stop receiving it. EmailOctopus manages subscription and unsubscribe status on IBAI’s behalf.
Event interest
A Keep me informed form saves your email address, the selected event, the time of your request and your consent in the website database. IBAI uses these details to follow up about that event. It does not subscribe you to the newsletter, reserve a ticket or confirm attendance.
The website also saves a notification for the team. Automatic email delivery to IBAI is not active yet; the website does not send a confirmation email to you. To withdraw your interest or ask about registration, email ibai@ibai.or.id and name the event.
When an event has an RSVP link, registration takes place in the linked Google Form. Review that form’s description for prices, payment and confirmation conditions. Information entered there is handled separately from the website’s interest form.
Membership applications
Submitting a membership request saves the details you provide, your submission time, consent and request reference in the website database. IBAI uses this information to review your request and administer your application. Submission does not confirm membership, take payment or subscribe you to a newsletter.
The website also saves pending notifications for IBAI and an applicant copy. Automatic application email delivery is not active yet, so the on-screen receipt confirms storage, not an email sent to you or the team. For questions, contact ibai@ibai.or.id and quote your request reference.
Storage and access
Membership requests, event-interest records and pending notifications are stored in the website’s hosted database. The website currently has no automatic expiry for these records. You can ask IBAI to correct or delete your record, or withdraw your event-contact consent, using the email above. Include the email address you used and the relevant event or application reference; do not send identity documents unless the team asks for information needed to identify your record.
EmailOctopus holds newsletter subscription records. Newsletter unsubscribe and a request to delete other IBAI records are separate actions. Emailing IBAI or contacting the team through WhatsApp also creates a record in the service you use. This website notice does not set retention periods for IBAI’s separate membership, accounting or event-registration records.
Hosting, security and cookies
ChatGPT Sites provides website hosting and account access, with the hosted database provided through its Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and access services may process technical request information. Newsletter and hosting providers may process information outside Indonesia.
The website adds no analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and sign-in services may use technical cookies for access and security. Form endpoints use temporary hashed network identifiers and counters to limit automated submissions. Those counters expire after 15 minutes and are removed during later submissions; raw network addresses are not saved in these form tables.
Form data and newsletter credentials are handled on the server. Newsletter and event-interest consent are separate. Do not include sensitive personal information in an enquiry.
Company profiles, event photos and external links
The company directory and event archive contain published company information and historical event photography. Contact IBAI to request a profile correction or identify a photograph you want the team to review. Individual members are not listed in the company directory.
Member websites, source articles, Google Forms, WhatsApp and other external links operate under their own terms and privacy notices. IBAI’s wider membership, payment and event administration may involve information not collected by this website. Ask the team about the handling relevant to your activity.

For access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal or privacy concerns, contact ibai@ibai.or.id. Explain what you need and provide enough information for the team to locate the relevant record. We update this notice when the website’s data flows change.
