VinFast Indonesia has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Subang Regency Government and key infrastructure partners to develop the Manyingsal toll road interchange on the Cipali (Cikampek–Palimanan) Toll Road. Signed on January 14, 2026, the agreement positions VinFast as a strategic investor that will fully finance the project, covering planning, feasibility studies, permits, construction, and all related costs. This approach is intended to accelerate development without placing a burden on the local government’s budget. The Subang Regency Government will oversee coordination, licensing, and project supervision, while toll road operator PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (PT LMS) will support technical development as well as future operation and maintenance planning. The project received initial approval from Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works on December 15, 2025, with a targeted completion period of up to three years following the issuance of final permits.
This agreement highlights VinFast’s long-term commitment to Indonesia, extending beyond electric vehicle manufacturing into active participation in strategic infrastructure development. The company expects the interchange to improve logistics efficiency, enhance regional connectivity, and strengthen Subang’s economic competitiveness, while also generating thousands of jobs and supporting sustainable growth. Since entering Indonesia less than two years ago, VinFast has rapidly expanded its presence by establishing a manufacturing facility in Subang, launching electric vehicle models, and developing a broader ecosystem that includes dealerships, after-sales services, and charging infrastructure. Through this infrastructure initiative, VinFast aims to contribute meaningfully to Indonesia’s transportation development and overall economic progress.
