Through this program, the government hopes that farmers will not switch to other commodities and remain consistent in managing their cocoa land to maintain the national industry's raw material supply.

For association members and industry players, this policy provides certainty regarding the long-term sustainability of high-quality cocoa bean supplies from the West Java region. The program also includes financial management training and modern cultivation techniques to ensure that land productivity can increase significantly despite the challenges of weather changes. Strong government support is expected to strengthen West Java's position as a leading cocoa producer that can meet both domestic and export market demands. By securing farmers' livelihoods, the cocoa industry ecosystem in West Java is projected to become stronger and more competitive in facing global market dynamics in 2026.
