Indonesia’s Quarantine Agency (Badan Karantina Indonesia or Barantin) reported a positive performance in the export value of quarantine-related commodities through the end of 2025, with a total export value of about IDR 393.2 trillion. Barantin Head Sahat Manaor Panggabean noted that although the year had not yet fully concluded, this figure nearly matched the export value achieved in the previous year, indicating stable export activity for agricultural and related products under quarantine control.
The quarantine certification services provided by Barantin play an important role in supporting Indonesia’s export competitiveness, as they help ensure that exported commodities meet the health and safety standards required by trading partner countries. Barantin has issued millions of export certificates throughout the year, covering a wide range of agricultural, fishery, and livestock products and contributing to maintaining access to international markets. This performance reflects ongoing strength in the country’s export sector despite global trade uncertainties.
