Indonesia’s Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, officially launched a nationwide export release conducted simultaneously from eight locations across eight provinces, with a total value reaching USD 58.77 million, equivalent to approximately IDR 978 billion. The initiative involved 31 companies ranging from large manufacturers to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), highlighting the inclusive nature of Indonesia’s export ecosystem. The main ceremony took place at PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia in Cikarang, West Java, underscoring the country’s strong manufacturing base and export readiness.
The exported products covered a wide range of sectors, including automotive electrical components, solar panels, fisheries and plantation products, processed foods, as well as furniture and home décor. Export destinations spanned ASEAN markets, the United States, Europe, Japan, China, and India. At the primary site, PT Denso shipped six containers of automotive electrical components valued at around USD 26.4 million. The government reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that export opportunities benefit businesses of all sizes, supported by overseas trade representatives, including 46 trade attachés and Indonesian Trade Promotion Centers operating in 33 countries. Strong coordination between central and regional governments, cooperatives, and businesses continues to play a vital role in sustaining Indonesia’s export performance amid global trade dynamics.
