The Government of Indonesia, through the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, has officially launched the Debottlenecking Channel under the Government Strategic Program Acceleration Task Force (Satgas P2SP) as a concrete demonstration of its commitment to creating a more conducive, transparent, and responsive business environment. This new channel serves as the official route for business actors to report challenges or barriers they face when conducting business in Indonesia, ensuring that these reports receive rapid follow-up from the Government and related ministries/institutions. The initiative builds on the work of the Task Force’s Working Group 2 and aims to strengthen business and investor confidence in the Government’s efforts. Every submission is processed through an integrated mechanism—from verification and analysis to inter-ministerial follow-up—helping ensure that issues are addressed efficiently and with accountability.
Minister of Coordinating Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that the channel reflects the Government’s presence in assisting the business sector by offering a formal platform to voice obstacles and receive timely solutions. The system operates via a web-based platform connected to the Business Identification Number (BIN), allowing users to monitor the progress of their reports in real-time. Accessible 24/7, the channel will also be regularly reviewed by Satgas P2SP through weekly forums involving relevant ministries and agencies. This tool is designed to eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks, expedite problem resolution, and promote a healthier, more sustainable investment ecosystem in Indonesia.
