The Central Java Provincial Government is significantly boosting its Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector by dispatching 20 selected business actors to participate in exhibitions in Malaysia and Thailand from December 19-26, 2025. This export promotion drive, a collaborative effort championed by the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) Central Java, aims to open larger international markets and enhance the region's presence across Southeast Asia. Governor Ahmad Luthfi symbolically inaugurated the mission, emphasizing that this initiative is a vital component of the government’s commitment to driving investment and showcasing the potential of Central Java products abroad, recognizing MSMEs as the crucial backbone of the national economy.
HIPMI Central Java Chairman, Teddy Agung Tirtayadi, confirmed the rigorous selection of 20 high-potential MSMEs, underscoring the organization’s dedication to internationalizing local businesses. The Governor further urged young entrepreneurs in HIPMI to actively engage with local city and district leaders to identify and uplift micro-enterprises, guiding them toward becoming small and medium-sized ventures. By prioritizing international exposure and strategic local development, this collaboration seeks to leverage Central Java's massive MSME potential—estimated at 4.2 million—to secure broader market access and long-term economic sustainability.
