Indonesia’s advertising subsector, part of the creative economy, has emerged as one of the country’s top five investment recipients in the first half of 2025. Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya highlighted this achievement during the Citra Pariwara 2025 event in Jakarta, noting that the strong investment performance reflects growing confidence in the industry. The government views this momentum as a key opportunity to further strengthen employment, export potential, and contribution to the national GDP.
To sustain this positive trend, the ministry is intensifying collaboration with the Indonesian Advertising Companies Association (P3I) and other industry stakeholders to better understand and address the sector’s development needs. The minister expressed optimism about the industry’s increasing creativity and its ability to compete on a global stage. The Citra Pariwara awards were also recognized as a vital platform for innovation and collaboration, encouraging Indonesian creative works to gain wider international recognition and reinforcing the long-term growth of the national creative economy.
