Seafood-based processed products from Pangkalpinang, produced by the MSME Duo Ayu Sehati, have successfully been exported to Sydney, Australia. The export was officially flagged off by Pangkalpinang Mayor, Prof. Saparudin, at the Mayor’s Official Residence on November 17, 2025. The achievement reflects close collaboration between Customs, the Quarantine Agency, Garuda Cargo, the Bangka Belitung Provincial Industry and Trade Office, and other stakeholders, showcasing the global competitiveness of Pangkalpinang’s local MSMEs.

Mayor Saparudin emphasized the importance of maintaining product quality, particularly in packaging, to strengthen market access. He encouraged local MSMEs to be bold, precise, and consistent, assuring that quality products will continue to open international market opportunities. The initiative also aims to expand employment opportunities in Pangkalpinang by increasing the scale of local product exports.
