Indonesia highlighted its growing medical device industry by bringing eight leading companies to Medica 2025, the world’s largest medical equipment exhibition held in Düsseldorf, Germany from November 17–20, 2025. The initiative, led by the Ministry of Trade, aims to boost the global competitiveness of Indonesian health products and strengthen their presence in international markets. The participating companies showcased a wide range of products, including hospital diagnostic tools, surgical instruments, medical gloves, masks, syringes, dialysis equipment, rapid test kits, and ISO-certified medical devices.
The Indonesian Pavilion attracted significant attention from international visitors, including representatives from Germany, the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, England, France, and Singapore. The exhibition facilitated business meetings and opened opportunities for strategic cooperation, technology transfer, and human resource development. Officials emphasized that participation in Medica 2025 will help Indonesian medical device companies expand their global reach, enhance product quality, and foster long-term partnerships.
