The Bekasi City Government is strengthening its commitment to regional economic growth by boosting the competitiveness of local products. This effort was highlighted through the 2025 trade mission and promotional exhibition for top export products, officially opened at the Nonon Sonthonie Hall by the Deputy Mayor of Bekasi. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration among the government, businesses, and support institutions to broaden market access for Bekasi’s leading products at both national and international levels. The event was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Industry’s Corporate Leadership Academy, who highlighted the need for skills development to enhance product quality.
Customs officials contributed insights on export regulations, underscoring the value of guidance and facilitation in helping businesses navigate export procedures efficiently. Also present were local trade and industry authorities alongside various business players from multiple sectors. The initiative aims to empower local entrepreneurs by expanding networks, improving capabilities, and seizing emerging export opportunities. The Bekasi City Government hopes this program will strengthen the region’s position as a center of high-quality, globally competitive products.
