At the East Java Trade and Investment Forum 2025 held at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, four East Javan companies signed a trade MoU with Singaporean buyers, closing export deals worth USD 1.06 million (approximately IDR 17.70 billion). The exported goods include day-old chicks (young chickens), agricultural products, and spices.
According to the Indonesian Trade Attaché in Singapore, Billy Anugrah, the contracts reflect Singaporean business interest in East Java’s agribusiness and investment potential. The forum featured 20 leading East Java exporters, most of whom are small and medium enterprises in food, agriculture, and manufacturing.
