The local government of Hapcheon County in South Korea organized a global marketing promotion in Jakarta from November 9 to 14, 2025, to introduce its premium agricultural and regional specialities under the brand “Suryohan Hapcheon” (which translates to “Charming Hapcheon”). Over 20 distinct top-tier fresh and processed agriculture products were showcased at locations such as the Main Atrium / COLLECT Town / VIVID 360 in Jakarta. Hapcheon partnered with the E-Commerce Association of Regional Agricultural Products, led by Baek Moon-gi, to reach Indonesian distributors and retailers and to build longer-term export relationships.
Through participation in the international food & beverage exhibition Sial Interfood Indonesia 2025 and hosting export consultation meetings—including an MoU signing at The Langham Hotel in Jakarta on November 10—Hapcheon sought to strengthen the competitiveness of its agricultural products in Indonesia and secure partnerships with local buyers such as CV Libra Food Service. The initiative reflects a broader trend of growing demand for korean food and regional Korean agricultural brands in Indonesia, and positions Hapcheon’s efforts as both market-expansion and farmer-income-enhancement strategies.
