Encouraging SMEs to Enter Export Markets, BNI Hosts Exporters Forum

PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) hosted the BNI Exporters Forum as part of its BNI Xpora program, aiming to equip SMEs with insights into export market prospects. The event, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Trade, gathered 50 SMEs. Corina Leyla Karnalies, BNI's Retail Banking Director, stressed the pivotal role of SMEs in Indonesia's economic growth and the importance of enhancing their capacity and capabilities.


Corina highlighted the necessity for SMEs to venture into export markets as a means of expanding their businesses, emphasizing the need for support through mentoring, training, and financing. Through expert presentations, participants gained valuable information on market prospects, export regulations, and rules across different countries. They were also equipped with knowledge of financial and export transactions, empowering them to tap into global markets. The BNI Exporters Forum embodies BNI's commitment to elevating SMEs' quality and competitiveness, with the aim of enabling them to thrive both domestically and internationally. Corina emphasized BNI's dedication to continuous innovation and collaboration with various stakeholders to provide optimal solutions for SMEs.
