Foreign tourists can apply for visit visas to Indonesia through VFS Global. The type of visa in question is an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VoA). Applications for e-VoA via VFS Global for foreign tourists began in December 2024, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration. "With this co-branding partnership, we can reach more tourists for visa applications to Indonesia," said Kaushik Ghosh, Head of Australasia at VFS Global, when confirmed by Kompas.com on Monday (August 25, 2025). The e-VoA is a category B1 visa valid for tourism, family, and business visits in Indonesia. Currently, the e-VoA is valid for a 30-day stay in Indonesia for foreign nationals from 97 countries. Kaushik explained that foreign tourists from the 97 listed countries can receive an e-VoA within 24 hours of their application.
The e-VoA is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. This visa can be extended once for an additional 30 days. According to the official VFS Global website, foreign tourists are charged an e-VoA fee of IDR 730,000 per person, consisting of a standard visa fee of IDR 500,000 and a service fee of IDR 230,000.
