HACCP and SMHKP certification are needed by business actors because they are required by the competent authorities of the destination country of exports as a guarantee that the company has implemented the principles of sanitation, hygiene and food safety in every part of its upstream-downstream production chain. "KKP Quality Agencies throughout Indonesia oversee certification for various types of Indonesian fishery commodities that can be found in 140 countries," he said.
