On 10 May 2023, The Italian Embassy in Jakarta held a roundtable discussion to discuss about ‘’Indonesian Tax System for Foreign Enterprises’’ that took place at Jasmine 5 Room, Ayana Midplaza Hotel from 10.00 – 12.00 PM . This event was supported by the Italian Business Association in Indonesia (IBAI). The purpose of this roundtable aims to given the opportunity to the Italian enterprises in Indonesia to share their experiences, difficulties and good practices on tax management.
The event was warmly welcomed by the H.E. Benedetto Latteri, Ambassador of Italy to Indonesia by addressing Aim of the discussion is to have a clear understanding of the taxation issues faced by Italian companies in Indonesia and the discussion result will be addressed to the Indonesia authority to find a common ground for the Indonesian government in developing relations with foreign investors, especially with Italian enterprises.
The event was continued by the brief presentation from Mr. Zaka Hadisupani Oemang and his partner, Mr. Mulyo Basuki, and then continued by the active discussion with Question and Answer sessions from IBAI members.
The event was closed by the concluding remarks from the Moderator, Mr. Giovanni Finarelli Baldassarre as the Head of the Economic & Commercial Section of the Embassy of Italy. And the closing remarks from H.E. Benedetto Latteri, Ambassador of Italy to Indonesia which addressed about the successful discussion progress in line with the expectation, thank the speaker and participants for the proactive Question and Answer discussions, thank to IBAI for holding and sharing the event.
